Dieu est un DJ¶
Scenic uses application milhouse for its audio, video and MIDI streams. Milhouse needs to know on which ports to transmit data. Each milhouse instance will use a range of ports, up to a hundred from the specified port (i.e. --videoport 10000 will use ports 10000 to 10100).
Will get back to this...
Dieu est un DJ make full use of SPIN together with milhouse and shared video textures. Some setup descriptions will follow, for now use the git repository and look up what was going on (i.e. lunch script, pd patches, etc.)
We run into a problem of video textures coming from SCENIC being mapped onto ShapeNodes (or GeometryNodes) upside down. We could have flipped them with milhouse but, unfortunately, the local preview would not be flipped. Temporary fix, as of 2012-04-05, is to scale on the Y axis with negative value. This, however, messes up the order of texCoords in the GeometryNode.
